The OR values of these seven SNPs were higher with experimentally determined genotype data in the replication phase (1.6 ≤ OR ≤2.1) than with imputed genotype data in the discovery phase (OR = 1.4), although their 95% CI overlapped. However, the association between the three IL10 SNPs and risk of BD was no longer significant in the replication phase, as the P values were much higher than a marginal significance level of α = 0.05 (Table 3 ).
