A two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the differences in GP among the 177 varieties were significant at the α = 0.01 probability level, indicating that a large amount of genetic variation existed in the entire population. Highly significant correlations (α = 0.01) were observed for the GP trait between the 2 years at each location.
