Total count of WBC and platelet count were also lower in the dengue group rather than in the OFI group and both attained statistical significance ( p = 0.0001 and p = 0.0002, resp.) but when subjected to ROC analysis, both failed to produce a significant area under the curve (AUC) and thus failed to achieve significance as a distinguishing marker between the two subsets of patients.
