When we analyzed combined female/male genotype, we observed that AA/AC genotype of the 1298 MTHFR polymorphism was more frequent in RSA and RIF groups than in the control group, but only in the RSA group was borderline significance achieved ( S3 Table , p = 0.049, OR = 1.49), which was lost after the correction for multiple testing ( p corr . = 0.44).
