Adjusted for these variables, patients who received one of the Brazilian standardized regimens had nearly 3-fold higher odds of success in the efficacy analysis (excluding deaths) and among them, those who used levofloxacin instead of ofloxacin had nearly two-fold higher odds of success, with marginal significance, in the effectiveness analysis, although not in the efficacy analysis.
