Increasing the number of marginally significant height SNPs in the estimates of inbreeding coefficients increased the difference with respect to the random SNPs (P < 2 × 10 −5 for top 2,500 SNPs and P < 9 × 10 −8 for top 5,000 SNPs), further providing evidence of height-based assortative mating in the ARIC European cohort (Tables 2 and 3 ).
