For men with T2DM it increased significantly by 8.38% (95%IC 7.1–9.6; p < 0.05) per year from 2001 to 2011 and from 2011 to 2013 showed a slightly non-significant declining trend −3.28%(95%IC -12.9-7.59) (see Additional file 2 : Figure S2).
