In accordance with this systematic review, Penkalla et al [ 20 ] reported that patients (n = 76) with highly significant CAD undergoing TAVI and PCI as single-staged procedure had similar 30-day all-cause mortality rate and 3 years survival as patients (n = 285) without CAD received TAVI only.
