We quantified the number of neuronal ectopias in Chn2 +/+ , Chn2 +/− , Chn2 −/− adult animals and found a highly significant increase in the number of ectopias in Chn2 −/− mutants as compared to WT and Chn2 +/− animals (p<0.01 for both comparisons) ( Fig. 2c ) .
