These results indicate a possible trend towards further cognitive decline, suggesting that patients on standard available immunomodulatory treatments are possibly not sufficiently protected against ongoing cognitive decline, although other confounding factors such as depression severity or fatigue changes during this period may have also contributed to these findings.
