We have also edited the corresponding text to make clear that although individual comparisons may be significant, none of these pharyngeal lines shows a significant reduction in yeast feeding compared to all of the relevant controls: “None of these lines showed a reduction in yeast feeding compared to all controls, suggesting that the tested pharyngeal GRNs are not essential to support total yeast feeding.” There is also no gain of function experiment suggesting taste is the only driving factor that drives yeast preference as strongly suggested in the manuscript.
