A large population-based study based on the SEER database [ 16 ] indicated a nonsignificant trend toward longer survival in patients without LNM who undergo more extensive lymphadenectomies (HR=0.71; 95% CI=0.49–1.02; p=0.064), which implies an importance of complete resection, including microscopic nodal metastasis, in the treatment of OCCC.
