marginally significantP = 0.050
We found a significant correlation between the global connectivity of one region of the right TPJ and need threat ( R = 0.387, P = 0.003) and a marginally significant correlation between global connectivity of the right AI and need threat ( R = −0.260, P = 0.050), indicating that greater global connectivity of the right TPJ in response to social exclusion is associated with more needs being met, whereas greater global connectivity of the right AI in response to social exclusion is associated with fewer needs being met.
