When low doses of rasagiline and idebenone were administered in combination, we observed that their joint effect on the neuroprotection and inhibition of the robustness of the signaling cascade was markedly significant and included a significant restoration of retinal thickness, enhancement of RGCs survival, amelioration of cell apoptosis in GCLs, and improvement in visual function.
