This kind of information sharing is highly significant in a society where college students, and indeed all young people’s but especially young women’s, sexuality has been carefully monitored, and SRH information strictly controlled by gatekeepers, because it gives these students access to information which helps them understand more about their bodies and their fertility and thus to make more (but not necessarily wholly) informed decisions about intercourse, sexual health and reproduction.
