We only find significant enrichment in three of the ten control cell types, including embryonic stem cells (VSE, Bonferroni-corrected p ≤ 2.36 × 10 −4 ), cervical carcinoma cells (VSE, Bonferroni-corrected p ≤ 3.38 × 10 −3 ), and mesoderm leukemia cells (VSE, Bonferroni-corrected p ≤ 2.87 × 10 −3 ), indicating that there may be significant sharing of cis-trQTL-related chromatin markers between these cell types and LCLs (Fig. 5f ; samples H1hescPk-1, Helas3Ifna4hPk-1, and K562Pk-1).
