Kittlitz’s plovers also had a higher mean step length (223.8 ± 194.1 m, N = 34 plovers) than white-fronted plovers (94.0 ± 117.3 m, N = 26 plovers), and a marginally significant species * sex interaction suggests sex-difference between the 2 species ( Table 1 ).
