Interestingly, we only observed a borderline significant association with SLC16A1 rs9429505 (the G allele was more common in patients achieving complete or very good partial remission than in patients achieving only partial remission or no remission, p = 0.048), and a trend towards better response with BSG rs8259 (allele A was more common in patients achieving complete or very good partial remission, p = 0.082).
