The antibacterial activity of the modified film is tested against the Gram-negative bacterium, Escherichia coli , and the Gram-positive bacterium, Staphylococcus aureus and the film shows highly significant antibacterial activity against both bacteria (>4 log reduction in bacterial numbers) in 15 min and 60 min, respectively.
