After 2% MPTS modification, the pore volumes within both size ranges were very high, and then with the increase of MPTS concentration, the pore volumes in the mesopore regions (4–5 nm, 6–10 nm, 12–15 nm and 19–25 nm) all showed a decreasing trend, indicating that more and more MPTS filled the pores (grafted on the silica surface) with the increasing concentration.
