The second main effect emerged from a global analysis, which showed ZFP36 binding in 3’UTR (p=4.44×10 −16 ; Kolmogorov-Smirnoff [KS]) and CDS (p=5.33×10 −11 ) correlated to subtle but highly significant shifts toward greater mRNA abundance in Zfp36 KO cells, relative to mRNAs with no binding sites ( Figure 1H ).
