This discrepancy has been previously reported by Umar et al., where no change in the relaxation time τ was found in the presence of an increasing trend in dP/dt min magnitude 20 or vice versa by Correia-Pinto et al. in MCT-induced PAH rats. 21 These findings suggest that in the four-week MCT model, the RV maintains diastolic functional elasticity and is still in a compensatory phase.
