A decreasing trend in late age at SF introduction (≥ 9 months) was seen across increasing categories of gestational age, birth year, and maternal education at nurses' birth; a higher percentage of nurses born prematurely (32 to < 36 weeks), born between 1946 and 1949, and with mothers who had < 12 years education were introduced to SF later.
