There is an increasing trend in employment of laccase in biotechnological processes, 14 , 15 and P. sanguineus has been used in Kraft bleaching effluent 16 and degradation different dyes. 17 However, the value obtained by P. sanguineus PYC02 was lower than that reported by other strains of P. sanguineus , as in the work of Vikineswary et al., 18 where the production of laccase in SSF organic residues reached 48.7 U g −1 (dm).
