In male CP patients, a higher BMI (OR 0.84 per unit 95% CI 0.72–0.97; P = 0.02) was associated with a lower risk of being diagnosed with osteoporosis while age was only a borderline significant factor (OR 1.04 per year; 95% CI 0.99–1.09; P = 0.06).
