Peru compares favorably with several other Countdown countries in terms of a positive trend of per capita total health expenditure, which increased dramatically from Int$ 207 in 1995 to Int$ 555 in 2012 [ 50 ], and a substantial proportion of this expenditure was accounted for by RMNCH financing.
