In contrast, recent results from a multiethnic cohort study of 185,855 individuals, including 1,404 cases, showed a borderline significant positive association between coffee consumption and risk of Alzheimer’s disease (HR = 1.07 [95% CI 1.00–1.15] per 1 cup/day increase in coffee consumption) [ 14 ].
