In cognitively healthy persons, poor sleep was significantly associated with lower performance on the Stroop test (Stroop Time OR = 1.12; 95% CI = 1.04–1.26) and episodic memory total score (OR = 0.89; 95% CI = 0.79–1.00), and there was a borderline significance for episodic memory immediate ( p = 0.093) and delayed recall ( p = 0.054).
