A glaucomatous VF defect was defined as (1) glaucoma hemifield test results outside normal limits; (2) more than three significant (P < 0.05) and one highly significant (P < 0.01) non-edge contiguous points on the same side of the horizontal meridian as in the pattern deviation plot; or (3) a pattern standard deviation (PSD) < 5% in an otherwise normal VF.
