On a more positive note, we found an encouraging trend that the prevalence of biasing formats is decreasing, which may be a result of authors following general reporting guidelines. 7 Nevertheless, journals should adopt policies regarding the reporting of such statistics in order to prevent bias and facilitate comprehension as much as possible.
