Overall, the motor improvement observed in each one of our patients (ranging from 4 to 12 points and, on average, 7.2 points by the end of the protocol) was highly significant when compared to the onset of training (0 for all), and with the spontaneous improvement rates reported in the literature (scores <1 point when the rehabilitation started a year after the injury [ 12 ]).
