Coefficients of the interaction item in Model 1 ( β = −0.07, p < 0.1) and Model 4 ( β = −0.10, p < 0.05) were negatively, marginally significant, which demonstrates that, compared with participants who had low trust, PCL-C score and arousal among participants with high trust were mitigated via exposure to media coverage about the disaster during the earthquake.
