Interestingly for C1M, although high C1M (Q4) levels were not significantly predictive of OS (Table 2 ), high C1M levels were predictive of PFS by the univariate analysis (HR = 2.13, 95%CI = 1.17–3.88, p = 0.013) and borderline significant with the multivariate analysis (HR = 1.84, 95%CI = 0.97–3.51, p = 0.064) (Additional file 1 : Table S1).
