It was observed that a proportion of individuals exhibited an unusual diurnal pattern of the sAA or sIgA levels: a few individuals did not show a difference between morning and evening levels, and some showed an opposite pattern with a decreasing trend for sAA and an increasing trend for sIgA within one day ( Figure 1(b) ).
