In the mixed model linear regression of CLE scores obtained pre-treatment versus post-treatment at moderate versus maximal exercise intensity at the glottic versus the supraglottic laryngeal level, the three-way interaction was found to be highly significant (F-test p=0.009) ( table 2 ), confirming that CLE-score changes at maximal exercise intensity at the glottic laryngeal level explained most of the overall effect.
