Based on reviewing the relevant studies we found that although MIS resulted in slightly better scores than ORIF on post-operative outcomes such as functional score, imaging score, reduction quality, and complication rate, the statistical difference between these two kinds of surgical techniques was barely significant ( 22 , 24 , 25 , 27 , 28 ).
