In general, two criteria have been retained in the selection process of the price-elasticities to be used in the analysis: (a) only the highly significant estimates of the price-elasticities (between 1 and 5% degree of significance) would be used in the simulation; (b) among those estimates, we will only focus on the sub-groups for which the price-elasticities of tobacco demand are available for both Senegal and Nigeria.
