Surface durations of 2 s ( n = 12, 0.2%) were probably under-representations due to the conductivity sensor occasionally not getting dry at the surface (see Material and methods: Error checks for more detail). The result of the Kruskal–Wallis test was highly significant ( p < 0.001), and post hoc Dunn tests showed that all categories were significantly different from each other.
