Overall metabolites with consistent profiles between individuals were more likely to be significant at the group-level (Fig. 4D ), and metabolites that had either a wide range in acrophases for rhythmic metabolites, or opposing slope directions for linear metabolites, were not significant at the group-level, despite being significant in approximately half of the participants (Fig. 4E ).
