The only diabetic model-specific phenomenon was a slight trend decrease in BG values into week 2, which we attribute to NHPs becoming more comfortable with a) breathable jackets zippered over to protect the CGMs and b) dedicated vet technicians, resulting in improved dispensation of daily insulin, control of normoglycemia and reduced diabetic state over time ( Supplemental Figure S9 ).
