mCherry fluorescence excited by 488-nm light showed strong and highly significant signals when SEC11 was coexpressed with the SYP121 construct and with chimeras incorporating the N-terminal domain of SYP121, but not with SYP122 chimeras with the N-terminal domain of SYP122 or with the iLOV control.
