After stratification according to the three groups of IFs in 2017 [low group (IF<5), intermediate group (5–10) and high group (≥10)], the proportion of trials with a low risk of bias showed an increasing trend as the IF increased, although little difference was observed between the two higher IF groups (intermediate vs high IF group) in the domains of random sequence generation and selective reporting ( figure 5 ).
