However, the difference was not statistically significant, and it might have been attributable to the significant difference in the EBRT dose and the borderline significant difference in the observation period between the patients who received EBRT and TPF (for whom the medians of the EBRT dose and the observation period were 60 Gy and 18 months, respectively) and those who received EBRT and surgery (for whom the medians were 50 Gy and 61 months, respectively).
