It is unclear how the risk of prognostically significant myocardial injury can be modified or how prognostically significant myocardial injury in the setting of TAVR should be managed; however, considering the highly significant association between post TAVR complications with both significant myocardial injury and long‐term mortality, it can be postulated that prompt recognition and management of any complications will be beneficial.
