Significant reductions in the rates of unplanned re-presentations were seen in EDs with fast track (IRR 0.74, 95% CI 0.60 to 0.92, p=0.006) and those with aged care liaison models (IRR 0.72, 95% CI 0.54 to 0.96, p=0.023), with a marginally non-significant increase in re-presentations associated with the presence of a Nurse Educator (IRR 1.22, 95% CI 0.99 to 1.50, p=0.060) (see online supplementary file ).
