The observed difference in response time ( M = 16.3 ms) was highly significant with a medium effect size, and is similar in magnitude to that previously reported in laboratory studies using similar procedures (e.g., Anderson et al., 2011a [18 ms]; Le Pelley et al., 2015 [10 ms]), though of more interest for the current study is the ability of this measure to assess individual variation (see below).
