Fig 3 shows the community open defecation rates (percent of individuals in a given enumeration area stating that they openly defecate in the bush or in water bodies) versus the prevalence of schistosomiasis using CCA in that same enumeration area and shows an increasing trend in disease prevalence as the percent of open defecation in the community increases (n = 170).
