Our study showed that menopausal status was independently associated with higher serum total cholesterol, LDL-C and HDL-C concentrations, and an increasing trend was observed in each of these parameters with advancing menopause status while adjusting for age and LTPA both in base-ERMA and core-ERMA study designs.
