Henceforth, there is an increasing trend to incorporate interprofessional education (IPE) at the university level. 2 IPE has been shown to allow students from different professional programs to learn with, about, and from each other, which, in turn, improves communication across professions and enhances patient outcomes. 3 – 5 Many IPE models and frameworks exist, yet best practices for, and the long-term outcomes of, IPE strategies remain ill-defined. 6 Thus, there is a need for educators to continue to develop and evaluate the value of IPE in their respective curricula.
