Patients who did elective surgeries were found to be more satisfied ( p = 0.001) with a mean satisfaction score of 70.4% as compared to those who did emergency surgeries who scored 66.6% (Table 3 ). Multivariable analysis of the factors that affect satisfaction was performed by selecting variables that were found to be highly significant at the bivariate analysis (i.e. p < 0.01).
